I made this and it was super easy....i just did a little bit because the only oil i had was olive oil.  So I did equal parts brown and white sugar, a about a table spoon of olive oil, and about 2 vitamin E caps....it felt really nice, but i couldn't stand the smell.  I love the way olive oil taste...not a fan of the small.  The recipe calls for grapeseed oil.  But i have also heard that olive oil is good for your skin too.

However...my skin is super sensative.  and i notice 2 days later that i have 2 blemishes.  this may be because a the coming of aunt flo....so i will probably only do this scrub once or twice a month.

i think it makes a great gift though.  again, less the olive oil for sure!!!

lets start with the mask....

http://petitelefant.com/how-to-pore-strips/ is the site where the recipe and instructions can be found...they were very easy....to the point.  Except I forgot to heat it up....so i just slathered on the goo and let it dry.  I couldn't peel it...LOL   so I ended up just washing it off.   I guess I will have to try it again...the right way....
Pore Strips Ingredients:
  • 1 Tablespoon Unflavored Gelatin
  • 1 1/2- 2 Tablespoons Milk {any kind)
  1. Measure 1 Tablespoon of unflavored gelatin into a disposable container {if you put say, green jell-o on your face, there might be trouble}
  2. Add 1-2 Tablespoons of milk into the gelatin
  3. Until it looks like this
  4. Mix it up, and be quick about it, until you get a chunky consistency.  Add more milk if you’re uncomfortable with the amount of chunk.
Microwave the gelatin for about 10-15 seconds.  It will get creamier in the microwave.  Stir that around and start applying it IMMEDIATELY to your face.  This stuff hardens up fast so you’ve got to act fast.

i did make the bracelet...

but my sewing machine stopped working on the last stitch i had to do...blah.  THIS is why some people don't do the pins...LOL

so i have done two other pins... the "biore strip mask" and "homemade sugar scrub"....

yes....i give in. I will do it!

i think i was introduced to Pintrest not EVEN a month ago.  I have spent so much time on Pintrest...and not doing anything.   Pintrest is awesome but if you are inspired...do it!   So here is my year of Pintest.  It is Saturday...my daughter and I are home by ourselves...brothers and sister are out and about.  We are about to go to the fabric store to try to make this...
and also getting so paper to make this on canvas:

I plan on decopauging various paper to a canvas and then, with a sharpie, writing these phrases on it!

Should be a fun weekend!
